Introducing
Dr. Tom Seal
Tom, a Seattle native, received undergraduate training in
Environmental health and preventive medicine. He graduated Magna Cum laude after only
three years of study. He received his initial dental training at the University of
Washington. There, he performed research in root canals and autoimmunology. Graduating in
1977, he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery and the University's single award for
Oral Medicine.
In the late 70's Tom ran two free clinics. After Vietnam,
he was involved in the relocation and treatment of our Indochinese.
Currently Tom enjoys his family, Nick, Alex, Debbie, and
multiple family pets. A master in falconry and martial artist for over 35 years, he
practices Chi Gong for health. Dentistry is not just his job, it's also one of his
hobbies.
Tom is a member of the Forensic Committee of the King
County Dental Society. He is actively involved in sleep disorders and their resolution.
Tom also writes a column for Planet Insights for kids of all ages.
